I personally think that Hostgator is the best place to host your website. For 8-10 bucks you can host unlimited domains, they have 24 hour support, and have a really easy C-Panel to work from. Wordpress works great with it and it has a Fantastico De Luxe icon which make things EXTREMELY easy.

I personally think it is better to host a blog on your own domain. That way you have full control over it’s future and you can present it in anyway you like – As well as modify the script to suit your own needs.

Wordpress is pretty powerful, but there are still a few features that blogger has that WP should. The list is growing shorter every update though.
