Make Money Blogging ‘ Building Your Niche Audience And Getting The Basics In Place
Blogging has become the buzzword of the first decade of the 21st century. Ten years ago virtually nobody had a blog. Today your social standing is not quite what it should be if you don’t have a blog. The reasons for starting a blog are many, but if making money is one of your reasons, let’s talk about how to make money blogging!
The first thing you have to remember is to keep your blog about a niche subject. If you live in a far-off exotic place like La Paz, Bolivia, you could simply write about daily life in the highest capital in the world. If you live in New York, you will have to narrow down things a little bit. You could write a very interesting blog about daily life in the Bronx for example.
The number of niche subjects are virtually unlimited. Which one you choose to write about will to a large extent be determined by your life experience and interests. If you are a seventy year old ju-jitsu wrestler, many people will probably be interested in how you do it. If you are known for your sharp wit, you could for example write a political blog and tear your local politicians apart.
The point we are attempting to get across here is that you should first concentrate on giving your visitors something of value before attempting to make money from them. Once they trust you as a source of information on the subject of choice, they will return time after time and this is when you can start to monetize your blog.
Only after that should you start thinking about ways to monetize your blog. The first option that comes to mind is an affiliate program. In the case of your blog about daily life in La Paz, Bolivia, find a company that will pay you a commission for selling their products online. Those things should preferably be related to the subject of your blog, which in the case of La Paz could well be the beautiful Lama wool cardigans produced there. There are numerous affiliate programs available online.
A second possibility and one chosen by many bloggers, is to display advertisements on your blog and get paid every time someone clicks on one of those ads. There are a number of companies that offer this option. They find the advertisers ‘ all you’ve got to do is draw the visitors to your blog and then get a share of the advertising revenue.
Whichever route you choose to go, never concentrate on how to make money blogging. A well-written blog that appeals to a niche group of readers will grow over time and get more and more visitors. And with the visitors the money will come, whether it be from affiliate sales or from advertising.
Learn more about how you can start to make money online today! When you start to make money blogging, you are going to find that it is a fast and easy way to make money doing something you are going to love!

How to Super-Power WordPress for Search Engine Optimization
Wordpress out of the box allows fundamental management of the fundamental SEO meta data. To expand the functionality we add our own super-charged version of the All-In-One-SEO Pack. The SEO pack makes it easy to modify the page title and page meta description.
The All-In-One-SEO Pack is a great WordPress plugin that finishes off the SEO aspects for WordPress. For some unknown reason WordPress still has not got the SEO fixed out of the box.
The All-In-One-SEO Pack allows you you to change the most significant page components – page title and page description. It also allows you to change the page keywords, but as we all know, search engines no longer take note of these because they have been spammed too much in the past. Google finished using the keywords for page ranking in the early 2000’s.
Page Titles
This is the No1 SEO component to manipulate. Always make sure that you control the page title. The page title appears in the browser window at the very top of the screen. Search engines use this in the listings and display it in their search results.
Ideally the page title consists only of appropriate keywords and nothing else. To make the text more human readable then we often add a pipe character (
The page title is the MOST significant SEO page element because it is like the title of a book. And just like a book title, if it is good it will be more attractive to readers.
If your page needs to extend to cover two or 3 keywords we have found that you can still get great rankings from adding multiple keywords to the title. However, always try to make the page title as close to the keyword you want to rank for. Adding extra non-beneficial words detracts from the results achieved.
Even though it’s best to keep the page title just to the keywords you want to rank for, if you are a branded business you will also most likely want to add in your business name so that it shows up on Google in your search listing.
Page Descriptions
This element is NOT used by search engines for ranking purposes. All The Same, most search engines will utilize this in their search results so it is important. Google does not use the description all the time but we find that it uses it about 80-90% of the time. The rest of the time it will pick up the first piece of text on the page.
By having a good description it will increase your click through rates because the text will be more attractive to people. Ensure that you use a maximum of 156 characters. If you use any more characters Google will cut short the rest. If you can keep your descriptions to–0 characters or less this is even better seeing Google sometimes adds a date to the start of the description which is part of the 156 characters it displays.
