The Bloggers Cry More Website Traffic

More website traffic — more, more!  That’s the cry of blog owners everywhere.  If no one is coming by to read what you’ve posted, how can you be profitable?

So, you need to find ways to get more traffic to your blog or website

Here’s the first of the tried-and-true ways for getting the search engine spiders to visit, and then send you visitors.

Once Again, Content is King

Provide content that is of very high quality on your web site. This is the first and the foremost requirement for you to increase traffic on your blog. People (not to mention the search engine spiders) should have something interesting on your site to come and read.  Which brings us to the second half of the equation; how much content, and how often?

Update Your Content Regularly

You knew I was going to mention this at some point…how often is often?  It depends on:

  • How much time you have.
  • How much money you have.
  • How much money do you want to make?

If you don’t have a lot of time, it will be harder to update your content regularly, although there are ways around it.  But what of the burning question — how often is often enough?

It really depends on your readers and niche.  As a general rule of thumb, I’d say once or twice a week should be enough to keep the search engines interested enough to keep sending their spiders.  Obviously, though, if you can update once a day, the search engines will give you more “brownie points”.

If you don’t have the time, but you have some money, you can outsource a lot of the content.  There are some very good article writers who will create a unique 400 word post for less than the cost of a fast-food lunch.  It’s a great way of getting more content.

If you don’t have the money and don’t have a lot of time, there are always the article directories that can provide you with content.  Just abide by the rules for making sure you give the author proper credit, and you can have fresh posts for free!

More Web Site Traffic

Did you notice my last bullet point of how much money do you want to make?  The money you make is in a direct relationship to how much time you spend updating your site.  Granted, a site that’s been around for years and has hundreds of pages may only have to update once or twice a month to stay up in the rankings.  But, for the brand new or fledgling site?  You need to work harder at first.

The tough part is this; you won’t always see your work rewarded quickly.  Granted, sometimes you’ll happen upon a niche and it will be earning money early and fast.  For most of us, though, it will take a few months to start seeing a regular income.

But here’s the better news; once you have built your blog or website up, it will pay you a residual income.  I have some sites I might touch a few times a year, but which bring me in a nice check every month, like clockwork.  But I had to spend the time up front, in order to reap the benefits now.

More web site traffic is what we all want as web owners.  If you’re reading this post, it’s likely that you want your blog to be profitable.  Feed it with content to keep the spiders happy, and they’ll reward you with traffic.  And the traffic in turn will reward you with income.

Using The Internet To Earn Residual Income

by Louis-Charles Martel

When looking into a way in which to bring in an extra income into your home, check into a way to earn residual income. The internet is filled with many ways in which you can earn this extra income. Many people begin these programs with the hopes of switching over to earning full-time money on these ideas.

Many of these opportunities to earn residual income will cost you some money. That’s why you should always compare a few different ways to go about making this money. Remember the benefit of earning residual income is supposed to be the ability to set up a site and let the profits come to you.

These affiliate programs will track all the sales and take out the cost of the product each month. You will then be issued a commission check on those profits you’ve made. Not a bad deal at all, not much work for you.

Again there are many different types of affiliate programs in which you can earn residual income. Anything from adult websites, to catalogs for perfume. And many more things. The cool thing about the plug-in profit is they have done the research and gotten the top five best programs and are willing to get this all set up for you.

Of course you can do the same work, but remember when checking into an affiliate program you’re going to have to find something that is needed or wanted by people. Plus the product is hopefully not too flooded on the internet. Most importantly you will need to try and find the company that offers the largest commissions. Or you can get the easy way of doing it with the plug-in profit site.

Even the idea of placing a banner on a website you already have up can earn you some nice residual income. If you have many visitors who come to your site on a daily basis this will be a great way to get some extra money in your pocket. It’s a simple and very quick process that won’t take long at all.

Say you’re an expert in the computer field. Create a site where you give information on how to fix things on the computer. This site you can charge a membership fee for people to join, and get that information from you. Not only will it earn you residual income, but if you place some banners on your site for products that your earning a commission on you can make even more money.

Though the final decision will be yours. The affiliate programs are the hottest around. With a chance to link to five of those programs you should look closely at the Plug-In profit site for your chance at earning residual income.
